Self-hosted Flatpaks

Well, remember Flathub? That's kind of out of the picture now.

Long story short, the Flathub publishing experience was okay! However, everyone (including me) got a bit busy and sort of forgot about it. So we never really took it further that much. Ah well.

So I decided to self host Flatpaks built with flatpak-builder now as an alternative.

And a whole lot of things have happened since then.

These self hosted Flatpaks use network access, but do build from source. I decided since I didn't need to ditch network access during the build it was fine for now. However I am working on an offline version (but it's in beta)
