The legacy version doesn't support copyrighted codecs such as H.264, and streaming protocols such as HLS and MPEG-DASH. For those, you'll need the main version of SimpliPlay. Get StartedOlder hardware and software isn't always a limitation for media playback. (Requires at least Windows XP/macOS 10.6) To start the app, click nw or SimpliPlay Legacy inside the ZIP.
